Operation Lifesaver’s trained and certified volunteer speakers provide free safety presentations for people of all professions and age groups to help them make safe decisions around tracks and trains. Educational brochures and videos, coloring books for children and training information are available. Louisiana Operation Lifesaver is sponsored cooperatively by the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission, Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, Louisiana State Police, Federal Highway Administration and all Louisiana railroads.
