The 2009 Mid-City Bayou Boogaloo was Louisiana’s first green music and arts festival with Solar powered stages, Bio-Diesel generators, locally grown and organic foods, a comprehensive recycling program and sustainable living and coastal restoration education. As always the Festival was a family-friendly event with a kids stage and games and activities for children.
2009 Bayou Boogalooers took part in delicious food, cold beer and libations, listened to great local music, and enjoyed the very best art that New Orleans has to offer.
