The Times Picayune was in such demand that many neighbors had their newspapers stolen. It’s been said that when life gives you lemons, make lemonade. In Faubourg St. John, we make mimosas. Well, at least Sarah Landrieu does.

While many people were waiting outside of Canseco’s this morning, Sarah Landrieu made mimosas for those waiting for the next delivery of the Times Picayune.

And, when the papers arrived, Sarah Landrieu bought 5 bundles and gave two issues to each of the people waiting. Now that’s what I call neighborly!
