WHAT: Annual Faubourg St. John Neighborhood Association fund raiser with cuisine provided by local restaurants, open bar, live music. Tickets are for sale for $40 in advance or $50 at the door. Get your tickets at Fair Grinds Coffeehouse at 3133 Ponce de Leon just off Esplanade Avenue. SILENT AUCTION!

WHERE: The Pitot House, 1440 Moss Street on Bayou St. John, NOLA
WHY: To benefit the Faubourg St. John Neighborhood Association Your ticket covers live musical entertainment (local band Lips and The Trips from 8:30 to 10 pm.), an open bar and fare from some of New Orleans most beloved restaurants.
Charmaine Neville performs from 10 p.m. to midnight! To join the Voodoo on the Bayou celebration, meet at the Pitot House at 1440 Moss Street on Bayou St. John on October 25, 2008. The party begins at 8:30 p.m. and goes until midnight. Costume preferred, black tie acceptable.
