19th Annual FSJ Bastille Day Block Party
Date: July 11, 2026
Time: 5 PM - 9 PM
Location: 3100 block of Ponce de Leon, between North Lopez & Esplanade
Win: A prize for the best Marie Antoinette or Napoleon!
Come celebrate our French founders with our Bastille Day Block Party Celebration. Put on your dancing shoes! Giziniti, featuring Audrey LeCrone will play and sing for your dancing and listening pleasure! We’ll have a traditional art market featuring local artists and craftspersons. There will be a clown to paint faces and twist balloons. Of course, there will be food and drink. Everyone is welcome. The music starts at 5PM!

Please sign up for a 1-hour shift in the FSJNA tent. We will be selling raffle tickets and merchandise to raise money for FSJNA. It’s always a fun way to see your friends and neighbors. Wine and beer will be provided for volunteers. We look forward to celebrating with you!

Pitot House's Bastille Kickoff
Celebrate Bastille Day with us at Pitot House on Thursday, July 9, from 6–8 PM for Un Pique-Nique Français! Enjoy live music by Pardon My French, delicious fare from Café Degas, opportunities to practice your French, learn Kouri-Vini, and mingle with local French and Creole organizations in the beautiful Bayou St. John setting.

DPW Community Meeting:
DPW is moving forward with the community meeting for the FEMA project RR005, which will be a full reconstruction of Verna/Leda and paving of the 2700 block of Toulouse.
The meeting will be held on Thursday, May 21st at Deutches Haus beginning at 6 pm.

Pitot House> Broadside on the Bayou: Princess and the Frog
Pitot House is thrilled to partner with The Broadside New Orleans and The Faubourg St. John Neighborhood Association to host our first
Broadside on the Bayou featuring THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG!
Please join us with your favorite blanket or chair to enjoy a movie with the kids on the meadow of Pitot House on Friday, March 13 at 6 PM.
Doors open at 6 PM with refreshments available for purchase and the movie will start when then sun sets around 7:00. Tickets will also be available at the door but can be purchased using the link.
